Live For Today

This is the day the Lord has made. Let’s rejoice and be glad today!

Psalms 118:24 GW

“This is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven, let your name be kept holy.

Let your kingdom come.

Let your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.

Give us our daily bread today.

Forgive us as we forgive others.

Don’t allow us to be tempted.

Instead, rescue us from the evil one.

Matthew 6:9‭-‬13 GW

Today the Lord your God is commanding you to obey these laws and rules. You must faithfully obey them with all your heart and with all your soul.

Today you have declared that the Lord is your God and that you will follow his directions, obey his laws, commands, and rules, and listen to him.

Today the Lord has declared that you are his people, his own special possession, as he told you. But you must be sure to obey his commands.

Then he will place you high above all the other nations he has made. He will give you praise, fame, and honor, and you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

Deuteronomy 26:16‭-‬19 GW

What is today?

Today is another day that the Lord has provided for us to do His will.

Yet, what do most people do?

Anything but God’s will.

They are slaves to sin.

Anything not done in faith is sin.

Our rebellious hearts seek to satisfy our own fleshly desires instead of seeking to please our Father in Heaven.

I see a problem in the Church.

Men want to be leaders.

Women want to be leaders.

We are supposed to be followers.

We are supposed to be sheep.

We are supposed to be disciples of Jesus Christ, the head of the Church.

Who leads your local church?

If it’s not the Holy Spirit, your church is out of order.

The humans that God ordains to help shepherd the flock need to be Christians who walk uprightly before the Lord.

They need to be people of integrity, fully submitted to God.

Otherwise, they will lead you astray into their own sinful ways.

Misery loves company.

Watch out for people that like to be in charge.

They have a controlling spirit.

The spirit of witchcraft.

They lack self-control.

If you want to be anything in this world, you must first master yourself.

This world is temporary.

It’s a proving ground for the substance of your soul.

Don’t be concerned about worldly things.

Be concerned about what has your Father’s approval.

Don’t serve to be seen.

Serve with purity of heart.

God is pouring out His Spirit in greater measure in these end times.

There’s so many areas in which to serve.

There’s so many opportunities to make a positive impact on this world.

How does one choose what to focus on?

Ask God.

After all, we’re not here to follow our whimsy, we’re here to follow God.

God is cleaning up His Church.

Evildoers are being exposed.

It’s time to repent and return to God.

He is Our Lord.

He’s in charge.

He’s not just our Savior.

He is our King.

There’s a very good reason for the separation of Church and State.

The Church is eternal.

The State is temporary.

The Church is a steward of the mysteries of God.

The State is a steward of earthly things.

Trust God.

He loves you.

His guidance always works to your advantage.

Your flesh won’t like it.

But your spirit will rejoice.

Lean not on your own understanding.

But in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your path smooth.

Sit and be still before the Lord.

Seek Him with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength.

He will reveal Himself to you.

You were created to be like Him.

Be like Jesus.

Your life is a sacrifice.

A love offering.

A sweet smelling aroma to God.

Be poured out for all.

In Jesus’ Name I pray.

Amen.

Believe In Love

Be alert. Be firm in the Christian faith. Be courageous and strong. Do everything with love.

1 Corinthians 16:13‭-‬14 GW

You were also taught to become a new person created to be like God, truly righteous and holy.

Ephesians 4:24 GW

Then an expert in Moses’ Teachings stood up to test Jesus. He asked, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

Jesus answered him, “What is written in Moses’ Teachings? What do you read there?”

He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind. And love your neighbor as you love yourself.’”

Jesus told him, “You’re right! Do this, and life will be yours.”

Luke 10:25‭-‬28 GW

God is love.

God is righteous.

God is holy.

You were created to be like God.

When we believe, when we possess faith, we believe in the person and attributes of Our Creator God.

God’s power is based in love.

Miracles, signs, wonders, healings and deliverance are evidence of His love.

They follow His believers.

Don’t go chasing after the evidence.

It will chase you if your heart is chasing after God.

Love heals.

Love sets us free from our demons.

Love makes the impossible happen.

Love saves us.

Love moves mountains of doubt and fear and replaces them with peace and joy.

What’s the first fruit of the Spirit?

Love.

Without love, you will not have any of the other fruits.

What’s the last fruit of the Spirit?

Self-control.

Trying to get self-control, or discipline, without first loving God and others is an exercise in frustration and futility.

Love naturally yields a harvest of righteousness.

Love naturally leads to a holy life.

You will become what you love.

You will become what you worship.

Conversely, you will become what you hate.

You will become what you judge.

There is only One who judges fairly.

Human nature is to be hypocritical.

Human nature is to be prideful.

Human nature is to be selfish.

That’s why it’s called the corrupt nature.

We are born again of an incorruptible seed.

Our spirit is born of God and is incorruptible and cannot sin.

However, we still live in these tents of flesh.

The flesh can still rear its ugly head and lead us into sin.

That’s why we must be submitted to God’s Holy Spirit as our head.

We have the mind of Christ.

Use it or lose it.

Life is a daily battle to keep God first and to love at all costs.

The Father didn’t spare His Son but handed Him over to death.

Love is stronger than the grave.

Christ Jesus rose from the dead three days later with the keys to the Kingdom and He’s giving them away freely in these final days.

Whatever the problem, whatever the question, whatever the circumstance, love is the answer.

We know that Jesus is the answer.

Jesus is the physical manifestation of love.

God is love.

What am I supposed to be doing?

Loving God and loving people.

It’s that simple.

The world will try to seduce you into doing anything but that.

Love will overcome every obstacle.

We are more than overcomers.

Love transcends all wisdom and knowledge.

Love knows no bounds.

Love endures forever.

Abide in the love of Christ.

What is ministry?

Loving people.

We are all called to minister.

The gifts to the Church help prepare and equip us to serve.

Don’t make the gifts an idol.

They simply serve a purpose.

To enable us to love more purely and effectively.

It’s all about love.

God’s message is this: I love you so much that I was willing to die for you. And even death couldn’t stop My love from coming back to love you some more!

He’s coming back again.

Don’t let Him catch you sleeping.

Love like there’s no tomorrow because today is all we have.

May God’s love abide in you richly.

Amen.

Dedicated in love to all my brothers and sisters who faithfully pursue God and share His Love with the lost, broken and hurting on the streets.

May God give you great success in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Amen.

Freedom Rising

O Lord, who would be able to stand if you kept a record of sins?

But with you there is forgiveness so that you can be feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and with hope I wait for his word.

Psalms 130:3‭-‬5 GW

I may have the gift to speak what God has revealed, and I may understand all mysteries and have all knowledge. I may even have enough faith to move mountains. But if I don’t have love, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:2 GW

Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will also know my Father. From now on you know him ⌊through me⌋ and have seen him ⌊in me⌋.”

John 14:6‭-‬7 GW

Jesus is the answer to all of life’s challenges.

There is an army of God being raised up in this hour that loves God more than their own lives.

If God asked you to give up everything for Him, would that stumble you?

If so, you are worshipping a false god.

Do not be deceived, the world and its ways are a trap.

Get addicted to consumerism and the next thing you know you’re isolated, anxious, unhappy and alone.

You’re also enslaved to the economic system that controls the world.

There is a better way.

But it means you can’t let your flesh dictate your desires.

God wants to set us all free.

But first, you must rid yourself of pride.

Pride thinks of self over others.

We’re told to consider others as greater than ourselves.

The Church is going through a purge.

Worldliness, carnal motives, greed, and selfishness are being crucified.

Those who love those things more than God are abandoning the faith.

Don’t be surprised when people who appeared to have a godly life but didn’t let God’s power change them desert you.

They will follow their fleshly desires into the grave.

It would have been better if they never knew the way of truth.

Their end will be worse than their beginning.

But there is always a remnant.

Discarded by the world, frowned on by the in crowd, there are always a few true believers.

If twelve disciples can turn the Roman Empire upside down, imagine what we could do to Mystery Babylon?

This is our time.

It’s time to rise up and stand firm in the faith.

Double-mindedness be damned.

There is only One true God.

There is only One Lord, Christ Jesus.

Where is your loyalty?

To God or to money?

Who do you serve?

Yourself or God?

It’s time to surrender all for the faith.

Search every part of me, O Lord, and see if there is any wickedness in me.

Test me in Your fire and try my motives to see if they are pure.

The lost and broken are crying out for a Savior.

They just don’t know who He is.

We carry the Good News of the Gospel of Peace inside of us.

God doesn’t hold our faults against us.

He has already provided a way out of hell.

His Name is Jesus.

And He’s the Savior of the world.

He rescues us from our sin.

His anointing breaks the yoke of slavery to sin.

He alone has the power to save.

He alone confirms His word with miracles, signs, wonders, healing and deliverance.

We go in the Name of Jesus into the world to rescue the lost.

We bring them the freedom that Christ won for us.

Faith comes by hearing.

And hearing by the word of God.

Speak the Word.

Read the Word.

Live the Word.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

God, save us from ourselves.

Purify our hearts Lord.

Break our hearts for what breaks Yours.

Let us be Your hands and feet.

Let us carry the message of freedom into the streets.

Give us wisdom and revelation.

Let us be bold as lions and gentle as lambs.

Give us the victory you have already won.

We are Your sons and daughters.

Lead us, O Lord.

Baptize us in the Holy Spirit and fire.

In Jesus’ Name we pray.

Amen and amen.
