“So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to do everything I have commanded you.”
“And remember that I am always with you until the end of time.”
Do what God’s word says. Don’t merely listen to it, or you will fool yourselves.
Whoever knows what is right but doesn’t do it is sinning.
Why is there so much division in our churches?
Because the enemy is at work, sowing discord.
In the infancy of the Church, all the believers were gathered together in one accord.
Then, the Spirit came and empowered them.
Pride is killing our churches.
The greatest temptation to ministers of the Gospel is conceit.
Because they forget the mission and start focusing on themselves and their man-made empires.
The typical Western church is nothing like the true Church.
Most are zombie churches.
They just eat your brains and turn you into a zombie.
There’s no life in the Spirit.
And this is not a judgment or indictment, just an observation.
I’m not declaring Western Christianity’s death sentence.
Quite the contrary.
If Jesus can come back from the dead, so can the local church.
But you can’t heal a wound by saying it’s not there.
It’s time we opened up the Scriptures and studied them for ourselves instead of trusting some academic’s human reasoning and interpretation.
Just as the Protestant Reformation was a response to the abuses of power by the Roman Catholic clergy, so this coming Reformation will be a dispersing of power to the people.
First the natural, then the supernatural.
First the written Word of God, then the Living Word of God.
What are we to do?
How can we prepare for the great outpouring of God’s Spirit on all humanity?
Read the Book of Acts.
Read it about 10 times in different translations.
What does the Acts 2 Church do?
How does what we do compare to that?
Where are we missing it?
Where are we being disobedient to Christ’s teachings?
Who’s teachings have we elevated above Christ’s?
Why are we not repenting and returning to the Author and Finisher of our faith?
Is it that we have invested too much in a systemic failure to make disciples and preach the Gospel to admit our mistakes?
It’s go time.
Play time is over.
If you want to see the Church united and mature, if you want to see Jesus come back, you must unite on mission.
No one church is going to get it all right.
No one church has all the resources to do all things well.
Pride is tearing us apart.
Pride is keeping us walled off and separate.
It’s only by cooperating, collaborating, and co-laboring with God and each other that we will forcefully advance the Kingdom.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
