I will do anything you ask ⌊the Father⌋ in my name so that the Father will be given glory because of the Son.
If you ask me to do something, I will do it.
When you pray for things, you don’t get them because you want them for the wrong reason—for your own pleasure.
First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people, for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us.
Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way.
This is good and pleases God our Savior.
He wants all people to be saved and to learn the truth.
The Body of Christ is one body with one head.
Jesus Christ is the head of the Church.
Prayer is similar to the nervous system in the human body.
It communicates messages to the central processing unit and receives instructions from headquarters.
For the Body to function in a healthy manner, all the parts have to work together harmoniously.
Selfishness is like a cancer in the body.
It consumes resources unnecessarily and drains the life and energy of the whole.
The Acts 2 Church is the model of a healthy church body.
They did not consider anything as their own and had all things in common.
We are called to worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth.
That means to be filled and flowing in the Spirit and to be aligned with Scriptural truth.
It’s easy to see where there’s room for improvement.
We’ll never get there without prayer.
We need to be praying for the unity and maturity of the Church.
Local churches need to see themselves as smaller parts of the whole and work together.
Some churches are gifted in some areas while others are talented in other ways.
To effectively minister to our communities, we need to lay aside our personal agendas and preferences and earnestly seek the Lord in prayer.
It’s His Body.
He’s the captain.
We need to obey orders.
The Church is made up of individual humans filled with the Spirit of God.
It was never meant to be a bureaucratic organization.
It’s an organic body.
We are the family of believers.
If you’re in a funk or having difficulties in any of your relationships, praying for others is the prescription.
The Bible teaches us to lay aside our anger and to lift up holy hands in prayer.
Remember, trials and tribulations will come.
If you weren’t tested, how could you have a testimony?
Attitude is everything.
Keep your prayers going upward towards Heaven.
God answers prayers that are aligned with His will.
It’s His will that all people be saved.
Keep praying for salvation and deliverance for all the lost so that they might be found.
Pray for more workers to be sent out into the field to seek and to save the lost.
This is the hour of the great harvest.
The antidote for whatever ails you is more Jesus!
Pray for more disciple making disciples to rise up and invest in the lives of their brothers and sisters in faith.
We’re all in this together.
No one gets out alive.
Make your life count.
Glorify the Lord.
To God be the glory forever and ever.
